„Days of wine and roses” aduce în atenția publicului trei dintre cei mai activi muzicieni de jazz de pe scena națională și internaționala. Ana Maria Galea (voce) , Daniel Csikos (pian) și Vaughn Roberts (chitară bass / trompetă) vor aborda teme standard de jazz precum „Autumn Leaves”, „There will never be another you”, „Summertime” sau „Caravan” ori piesa care dă și titlul concertului „Days of wine and roses” și teme alese din muzica românească și internațională a ultimilor 70 de ani , precum „Inimă nu fi de piatră”- o celebră compoziție semnată Edmond Deda, „Pînă când nu te iubeam” sau bine cunoscuta „La vie en rose”.

Ana Maria Galea este născută la Galaţi. A absolvit Universitatea de Artă Teatrală din Tg. Mureş la secţia de actorie. A debutat în jazz în anul 2007 fiind apoi invitată să cânte la festivaluri şi alte evenimente de notorietate, între care amintim „NoapteaMuzeelor”, Festivalul „Leonard”, „Vară de Jazz şi Poezie la Palatul Mogoşoaia”, „Live Acoustic” organizat de Centrul Ceh, Târgul de Carte „Vox Libri” – Deva, Palatul Peleș, Gala UNITER , Festivalul „TamTam” – Brașov, dar şi în cluburi de jazz sau teatre din ţară și străinătate (Spaniași Anglia).A fost , alături de Ciprian Parghel și Daniel Csikos reprezentanta româniei la Festivalul Muzicii Eurpoene din Alger, Algeria. Artista a avutprilejul să cânte alături de Mat Maneri ( muziciani nominalizat la Grammy) şi Lucian Ban în cadrul proiectului „Zilele Muzicale Târgumureşene” organizat de Filarmonica de Stat din Tg. Mureş ,alături de bateristul American John Betsch în proiectul „ConcerteleOrașului”, Gala UNITER , proiectul „Art District is Here”. Ana Maria Galea se remarcă prin creativitate şi printr-o rară capacitate de sintezăc ombinând într-un mod inedit arta dramatic şi muzica.Îndrumătorii şi mentorii ei în domeniul musical sunt AncaParghel, Pedro Negrescu şi MirceaTiberian.Pe lângă concerte și spectacole de teatru, Ana Maria este professor la Liceul Vocațional de Artă din Tîrgu Mureș și susţine în permanenţă o campanie de promovare a muzicii de jazz prin acţiuni de voluntariat, emisiunui radio, organizarea şi promovarea de concerte.
Artista este şi iniţiatoarea proiectelor „Seri de Jazz şi Muzică Clasică la Radio RomâniaTg. Mureş” ,„Muzică și Arte ”sau „Festivalului Internaţional Studenţesc de Jazz” de la Tîrgu Mureș pentru care a fost şi project manager la prima ediţie.

Daniel Csikos

Este absolvent al Academiei de Muzică din Cluj, secţia pian, clasa professor Csiki Boldijzar. Pasiunea pentru jazz şi-a descoperit-o în anul 2008 când a întâlnit-o pe vocalista Ana Maria Galea cu care colaborează şi în prezent. A participat la diferite festivaluri, printre care „Festivalul International Studentesc de Jazz de la Tg. Mureş”, „Combinatul de Film”, „Blues pentru Timișoara”, „festivalul Promenadelor”, „Strada de Carte” şi Festivalul „Leonard” ediţia a XII-a de la Galaţi,. Este autor de muzică pentru teatru și muzică pentru copii. A participat la mai multe workshop-uri susţinute de profesorul MirceaTiberian. Din 2008 face parte din proiectul „Oportunităţi la Tine Acasă”, proiect inițiat de UCIMR și destinat tinerilor muzicieni de muzică clasică si de jazz. A fost invitat de Societatea Română de Radiodifuziune să facă parte din trio-ul care a acompaniat vocalistele participante în stagiunea 2013-2014 la proiectul “Seri de Jazz şi Muzică Clasică la Radio Tîrgu Mureş.

Vaughn Roberts

Vaughn Roberts, poliintsrumentist este și unul dintre cei mai importanți compozitori și aranjori din Noua Zeelanda. Albumul său „Great Stuff” compus și aranjat pentru Big Band a fost considerat în țara de origine albumul anului. Aranjamentele sale au fost cântate și înregistrate de artiști importanți precum of Will Martin, Midge Marsden, Frankie Stevens, The Beatgirls, The Ladykillers (Tina Cross, Jackie Clarke, Taisha and Suzanne Lynch.
Vaughn Roberts s-a aflat pe scenele lumii alături de artiști foarte cunoscuți , printre ei Norah Jones, Ronan Keating, Diana Krall, Kiri Te Kanawa, Che Fu, Paul Potts, Rob Guest, Hayley Westenra, Tim Hagans, Allen Vizzutti, Eric Marienthal, Joe Lovano and Gerry Mulligan.
Trebuie amintit faptul ca Vaughn Roberts a făcut parte din grupul „One O’Clock Lab Band , grup nominalizat la premiile Grammy.

„Days of wine and roses” brings to the public’s attention three of the most active jazz musicians on the national and international scene. Ana Maria Galea (voice), Daniel Csikos (piano) and Vaughn Roberts (bass guitar/ trumpet) will tackle standard jazz themes such as „Autumn Leaves”, „There will never be another you”, „Summertime” or „Caravan” or the song that gives the title of the concert „Days of wine and roses” and, themes chosen from the Romanian and international music of the last 70 years, such as „Heart is not a stone” – a famous composition signed Edmond Deda, „Until I didn’t love you” or well known „La vie en rose”.
Ana Maria Galea
Ana Maria Galea is born in Galati. She graduated from the University of Theater Arts in Tg. Mureş in the acting section. She debuted in jazz in 2007 and was then invited to sing in festivals and other important events, among which we mention „Night of Museums”, „Leonard” Festival, „Summer of Jazz and Poetry at Mogosoaia Palace”, „Live Acoustic” organized by Czech Center, „Vox Libri” Book Fair – Deva, Peleș Palace, UNITER Gala, „TamTam” Festival – Brașov, but also in jazz clubs or theaters in the country and abroad (Spain and England). She was, along with Ciprian Parghel and Daniel Csikos, the Romanian representative at the European Music Festival in Algiers, Algeria. The artist had the opportunity to sing with Mat Maneri (Grammy nominated musician) and Lucian Ban in the project „Târgu Mureș Musical Days” organized by the State Philharmonic of Tg. Mures, together with the American drummer John Betsch in the project „City concerts”, the UNITER Gala, the project „Art District is Here”. Ana Maria Galea is noted for her creativity and her rare ability to synthesize, combining in a unique way the dramatic art with music. Her mentors, in music, are Anca Parghel, Pedro Negrescu and MirceaTiberian. In addition to concerts and theater performances, Ana Maria is a professor at the VocationalArtistic High School in Tîrgu Mureș and is constantly supporting a campaign to promote jazz music through volunteering, radio shows, organizing and promoting concerts.
The artist is also the initiator of the projects “Jazz and Classical Music Nights on Radio Romania Tg. Mureş „,”Music and Arts”or”International Student Jazz Festival”from Tîrgu Mureș for which she was also project manager at the first edition.
Daniel Csikos
He is a graduate of the Music Academy of Cluj, piano section, professor Csiki Boldizsar’s class. Hediscovered his passion for jazz in 2008 when he met vocalist Ana Maria Galea with whom he is still currently collaborating. He has participated in various festivals, among which “The International Student Jazz Festival from Tg. Mureş „,”Film Work”,”Blues for Timișoara”,”Promenade Festival”,”Book Street”and”Leonard”Festival 12thedition from Galaţi. He is the author of musical pieces for theater and music for children. He participated in several workshops held by Professor Mircea Tiberian. Since 2008 it is part of the project „Opportunities at Your Home”, a project initiated by UCIMR and intended for young musicians of classical and jazz music. He was invited by the Romanian Broadcasting Society to be part of the trio that accompanied the vocalists participating in the 2013-2014 season in the project “Jazz and Classical Music Nights on Radio Tîrgu Mureş.
Vaughn Roberts
Vaughn Roberts, a poly instrumentalist, is also one of the most important composers and arrangers in New Zealand. His „Great Stuff” album, composed and arranged for the Big Band, was considered the album of the year in his country. His arrangements have been sung and recorded by leading artists such as Will Martin, Midge Marsden, Frankie Stevens, The Beatgirls, The Ladykillers (Tina Cross, Jackie Clarke, Taisha and Suzanne Lynch).

A művésznő olyan kiváltságos helyzetben is volt, hogy énekelhetett Mat Maneri (Grammy díjrajelölténekes) vagy Lucian Ban oldalán a “Marosvásárhelyi zenei napokon”, amelyet a marosvásárhelyi Állami Filharmónia szervezett együtt American John Betsch dobossal a következő projekt kereténbelül: “A város koncertei”, UNITER Gála, “A művészet körzete itt van” (Art district is here).
Ana Maria Galea kitűnik a kreativitása és a drámai művészet és zene egybe hangolás révén. A mentorai és útmutatói a zeneivilágban AncaParghel, Pedro Negrescu és Mircea Tiberian. Daniel Csikos

A Kolozsvári Zene Akadémia zongoraszakán végzett, Csiki Boldizsár csoportjában. A jazz iránti szenvedélyét 2008-ban fedezte fel amikor találkozott Ana Maria Galea művésznővel, akivel a mai napig együtt dolgoznak. Különböző fesztiválokon vett részt, megemlítjük a következőket: “ Nemzetközi Egyetemista Jazz Fesztivál Marosvásárhelyen”, “Film Kombinát “, “Blues Temesvárnak “, “A sétányok fesztiválja “ (Festivalul Promenadelor), “A Könyv Utca”, valamint a XII Galaci “Leonard” Fesztivál. Zeneszerző a színdarabok és a gyerekzene területén. Számtalan workshopon vett részt, amelyet Mircea Tiberian tanárúr szervezett. A 2008 as évtől része a “Lehetőségek nálad otthon “ (Oportunitati la tine acasa) projektnek, amelyetaz UCIMR kezdeményezettet, a jazz és klasszikus zenészek érdekében. Meghívást kapott a Román Rádióadás Egyesületétől hogy részese legyen annak a triónak, akik az énekesnőket kísérték a 2013-2014-es “Jazz és Klasszikus Zene Fesztiválon” a Marosvásárhelyi Rádió szervezésében.

Vaughn Roberts, több zenei hangszeren játszik, egyik leg fontosabb zeneszerző és zeneiátíró Új-Zelandon. A “Great Stuff” című albumja, amelyet a Big Band-nek alkototta származási helyén az év albumja címet kapta. Alkotásait olyan híres művészek énekelték és vették lemezre, mint Will Martin, Midge Marsden, Frankie Stevens, The Beatgirls, The Ladykillers (Tina Cross, Jackie Clarke, Taishaés Suzanne Lynch).
