Dubase s-a apucat de “pus muzica ” in 1997 in Cluj Napoca sub umbrela CRS,mai bine cunoscuti pentru primul festival de muzica electronica românesc,De la Hoya.In cursul ultimilor 20 de ani a participat la cele mai importante festivaluri din tara,a fost promoter si digger entuziast,soundtracker alaturi de Calibro 45 aka Leizaboy la evenimentele speciale ale TIFF cu live score pentru filme din perioada noir,silentioase.Ultimele 4 editii ale Electric Castle au gazduit un proiect singular pe piata festivalurilor ,scena Roots,special creata pentru muzica reggae si derivatele ei inclusiv jungle,la care si-a adus aportul curatorial cu ZO si echipa festivalului.A adus in atentia publicului proiectul Babalonia cu aplecare asupra muzicilor exotice oarecum inexact catalogate ca world music.Restul e istorie.

Dubase started to „play music” in 1997 in Cluj Napoca under the umbrella of CRS, better known for the first Romanian electronic music festival, De la Hoya. Stabilit în Cluj Napoca, după ani de activitate de promoter, ZO și-a început activitatea de Dj. Mixează linii de bass din genuri precum dub, reggae și dubstep rezultatul fiind o bătaie mult accelerată a inimii publicului.
ZO has been active in the bass music scene for 5 years as a promoter before finally deciding to enter the realm of djing. Dub, reggae and dubstep are the trademarks of his style, blended for the pleasure of the dancing crowd.
