Founded in Budapest – Hungary (2010). They are often found jamming in the city’s vibrant music scene, merging future soul, funk, hip-hop instrumentally. They are fronted by bassist and singer Peter Sabák, other band members include guitarist Viktor Sági, drummer Levente Boros, and keyboardist Bence Molnár.

They released their debut album „Keep The Funk Alive” in 2015 with guest vocals and lyricists that include: Call Me Unique (UK), M3nsa (GH / UK), John Milk (FR), Sena (GH / HUN), ILLspokin (US). The album launch, held at the infamous A38 ship (Budapest), began the budding success of shows and appearances for the group and the rise of interest towards their future endeavours.

Due to the international appeal, they are currently working on the production of UK based singer songwriter „Call Me Unique”s debut album which promises to be „one-to-watch” (as quoted by Call Me Unique).

With such a passion to debut to the world with nothing less than finished product, they promise to always provide music for the people to „Keep The Funk Alive”.

Az Amoebát Sabák Péter, Sági Viktor, Boros Levente és Molnár Bence alkotja.
A zenekar 2010 óta aktív, tagjai közösen zenélnek a Fixi4-ben is, és egyéb formációk részeseként is ismerős vendégek az összes kisebbnagyobb budapesti és vidéki klub szín- padán. Az Amoeba az ország egyik legtöbbet foglalkoztatott háttérzenekara is: ők zenélnek Akkezdet Phiai élőzenés koncertjein, gyakran szerepelnek slam poetry esteken.
Nem utolsó sorban pedig a feltörekvő amerikai singer-songwriter, Valerie June Pushin’ against a stone című lemezén is ők hallhatók a Working Woman blues című számban, aminek producere Sabák Péter volt.

Ahogy terjeszkedik az amőba, a zenakar is úgy változtat a kompozíciókon estéről estére: nincs két ugyanolyan előadás, a jazz, funk és hiphop alapokról mindig új és váratlan irányba indulnak a fiúk. Az erős improvizációs hajlam miatt nehéz szívvel véglegesítették a szerzeményeket, viszont a várakozásért cserébe a dalok naná, hogy úgy szólalnak meg, mint még soha! A “Keep the Funk Alive” számain ugyanis több vendégénekes is szerepel
és velük a szokásosnál is egyedibb az Amoebaélmény. Az amerikai Illspokinn-ról, a francia John Milk-ről, a ghánai Mensáról, az angol Call Me Unique-ról vagy Senáról és Berger Dalmáról beszélünk.
